The Gulf Coast Business Council is the united voice of businesses on public policy issues important to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region. Through leadership and collaboration, the Gulf Coast Business Council promotes and advances the economic vitality and quality of life in Mississippi’s Coastal Region.
We strive to provide leadership in areas of public policy including governmental and legislative affairs.
The Gulf Coast Business Council (GCBC) is an umbrella organization made up of the top business leaders in Mississippi’s three coastal counties along with other member organizations and nonprofits.
It also includes representatives from city and county Councils of Government and public agencies, such as the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority, economic development organizations, the State Port Authority at Gulfport, the Jackson County Port Authority, the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, NASA, and Mississippi Gulf Coast Military instillations.

Membership meetings are generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month, January through November. Each monthly meeting consists of organization business, networking and features a guest presenter to inform and educate our membership on different topics of importance that affect the region.
